Cinta awak! *blush

Tak pernah buat posting cemgini.

Hari nih langgar pantang! Hehehe.

Suami saya nama dia Ammar Mohd Saufian. Dia nih waktu form 3 sampaila form 5, sekelas dengan saya. Dia pindah ke sekolah saya dari Port Dickson. Sumpah jarang bercakap waktu form 3 tu. Sebab saya ni pendiam. Hehe. Pemalu. Hehe. Ke sombong? :D

Tapi memang time tu dia antara yang famous la kat sekolah. Ramai pempuan nak ngorat. Hahahaha. Biasala, time sekolah kan, ramai girls daring yang suka tengok lelaki macho. Cehwah.

Form 4 and 5, dia sepatutnya gi sekolah lain. Tapi tak jadi sebab ada complication. Maka sekelas la kami. He was the only guy.

Mesti dia bosan tahap gaban time tu. Haha.

Bila form 4 & form 5 nih kerap la sket kami bercakap berbanding dengan waktu form 3.

Tapi memang langsung takda perasaan cinta dan sebagainya. Memang tak terfikir langsung lah satu hari nanti mamat nih akan jadik somi saya.

Lepas SPM, kadang kadang kami berhubung gak.

Pernah lah dia join makan makan dengan saya dan rakan rakan sebab waktu tu saya dah nak pigi sambung belajar.

Waktu tu dia belanja saye eskrim Baskin Robbins sebab a week before that (rasanya) ada game Man U dgn another famous team (lupa team apa), dia kata kalo Man U menang, "aku belanja ko eskrim okay"

Man U menang. Haha.

Time saya study kat Nuzilen masih la kadang kadang kami berhubung. Kawan biasa aje lah tapi. Masing masing ada gelpren/boipren time tuh :D

Ada satu hari tu, saya dah balik Mlesia, waktu tu baru jumpa boipren kat KL, tapi dpt jumpa kejap aje. Lepas tu menonong balik sorang sorang pegi ke Puduraya. Dapat tiket bas yang lambat. Macam kena tunggu 2 jam la cemtu. Bagitau kat dia time tu (dengan niat to kill the time sambil bergosip dan mem-bitching), last last dia kata dia akan datang temankan. Maka merayaulah kami ke Petaling St. Makan makan sket, borak borak sket. Saya tak ramai kawan lelaki, jadi dia adalah one of my guy friends yang saya suka borak, suka kongsi masalah.

Ditakdirkan hati kami kuciwa dengan pasangan masing-masing lepas itu. Kami pun mula berhubung dengan lebih kerap. Masing-masing bagi semangat kat masing-masing. Time tu saya kata tak nak bercinta lagik dah, lepas ni nak kawen dengan mamat korea terus :D

Satu hari tu dia belanja saya nengok konsert Butterfingers kat Istana Budaya. Saya pergi sebab Hujan jadi guest artist. Dan waktu lepas konsert nih, ada lah satu peristiwa yang memalukan/menggelikan hati haha. Sampai bila bila akan ingat peristiwa nih sebab gila mahal experience nih! XD

Lepas tu makin kerap kami keluar.

Tak sedar entah sejak bila perasaan tu melampaui perasaan sayang pada kawan :)

Lepas tu merisik, tunang, followed by kahwin.

Macam mimpi.

Rupanya lelaki nih la yang jadik somi saya.

Memang perjalanan hidup ni tak pernah dapat kita duga secara specific. Indah :)

Bila dah kawin, saya rasa bersyukur.

Saya bukanlah perempuan yang terbaik dalam dunia. Jauh panggang dari api. Banyak betul kekurangan saya. Tapi I am learning to be better.

Bersyukurlah saya sebab suami saya penyabar. Pandai masak (seriyes pandai okay!). Tak mudah marah. Bijak. Memahami saya inside out. To sum it up, he's perfect for me. Dialah pelengkap saya.

Bagus betul perancangan Allah.

Walaupun suami saya sakit, bagi saya tak apa, nih ketentuan Allah untuk dia. Saya akan buat sebaik mungkin untuk tolong supaya tak jadi worse.

Sebab saya sayang dia.

Bila kita sayang seseorang, kita sayang dia dalam apa jugak keadaan :)

Untuk suami saya yang gagah perkasa, hensem, bijak dan cemerlang (fuh, adjective! XD),

Jika engkau minta intan permata tak mungkin ku mampu

Tapi sayangkan ku capai bintang dari langit untukmu
Jika engkau minta satu dunia akan aku cuba
Ku hanya mampu jadi milikmu pastikan kau bahagia

Hati ini bukan milik ku lagi
Seribu tahun pun akan ku nanti
Kan… kamu…

Sayangku
Jangan kau persoalkan siapa di hatiku
Terukir di bintang tak mungkin hilang cintaku padamu

Nih lirik lagu Yuna, terukir di bintang. Bagus ada lagu cemni. Terus mengingatkan kita pada orang yang tersayang. How much we love that person :)

Saya harap dia tak pergi dulu sebelum saya. Saya nak lalui hari hari yang indah dengan dia dan pergi dengan senyuman yang manis sebab dapat tengok lelaki yang saya cintai pada penghujung hayat saya.

One year ago

It was 1st May in 2010 where we had our merisik. Merisik is an important ceremony in Malay families. It's sorta like asking permission from the girl's side whether it's ok to befriend their daughter and it's also asking for their blessings in the relationship that is about to bloom. Some couples might have been committed to one another for years while some might be for months before they had this merisik ceremony. Most importantly, it means that the guy is ready to tie the knot with the girl and that the budget for getting married is there (or maybe on it's way there). It is also to indicate how serious that dude is and that he's not in it just for the fun of it.

Personally, I thought it would be a waste of money, time and energy. Hehe. I used to think so.

I would rather have an intimate akad / solemnization ceremony attended by close family and friends, followed by a feast for all. That would have been very cost effective (provided the menu is something simple - beehun goreng, anyone?)

But it all changed when Ammar's grandmom said that it is important to have this merisik ceremony and as headstrong that I am, I fell prey. :-p I listened to her explanation and agreed with most of her views.

And so we had our merisik ceremony on May 1st, 2010. Not many people know of this and I intended it to be so because as bubbly as I am (at times :-D), I am rather secretive.

It was a nerve wrecking experience because I had to cook for my future in laws! My absolutely darling mom was being her usual darling self, insisted on me preparing chicken rice for the future in laws. I prayed hard that the food won't taste bad. If our dishes really do represent our feelings and emotions upon preparing them, I sure hope that whoever eat my Nasi Ayam won't be fidgety with intolerable anxiety.

Luckily they turned out nice.

I put on my baju kurung and was very quiet and reserved.

My mom had my makcik as well as my paklong and aunty Aneesa (Paklong's wife - who is not Malay and was persistent in attending this ceremony -she wanted to know about all these things so that when her daughters' time has come, she would know how to handle them. Hehe.) to accompany her. Being the first daughter, this means that this is the very first time for things like these to occur in our family. We were so inexperienced and didn't know what to expect of.

Ammar didn't come though, it wasn't customary for the guy to attend this merisik ceremony. We were texting away while the elders did the negotiation on the coming events. It was all but a blur to me until the moment where we read our prayers (led by Ammar's Granduncle ) and this was followed by a ring given to me. A merisik ring. A very simple gold ring that symbolizes 'this girl is almost engaged - almost booked.' :-D

I was so happy when it ended. We were one step closer to being united for good.

We had about 3 weeks after that before my booking day ceremony or better known as bertunang. I was in a frenzy buying things for the gifts -hantaran as well as booking things that needed to be booked. It was going to be a simple but neat ceremony and I had everything DIY except the cooking part. Nah, that has got to be handed to the caterer.

Merisik was fun and definitely something to be remembered with a smile pasted on my face. Not for long now, it will be our one year anniversary since we said I do. Gosh.

my sexeh hubbeh makes me hungreh

I typed the title above as the status of my facebook profile, out out of the blue, while waiting for my next class because honestly I'm feeling kinda off this week (whatever off supposed to mean :-p). I am so used to seeing my husband on every weekend since we got married so having not to for the first time is a really trying time. Didn't expect that post to get many likes and comments. So random. Hee hee.

But what really got me beaming from ear to ear was a poem created by Eesha. My former dorm mate who could always get people laughing till they are out of breath. She's witty like that, aside from being gorgeous and sexeh :-p

She wrote this:

Diyana Didi Zulkifli- this one is for you (suggestion je,don't kill me please)

merenung bulan merindui hubbeh,
jantungku berombak menantikan hubbeh
kerana daku amatlah hungreh
untuk bersama-sama makan honeh (*honey)
kerana tanpamu hidupku amatlah tak sunneh (*sunny)
oh sayang,kaulah bunneh (*bunny)
eh tapi bukan yang playboy bunneh

hahahaha :-D now this would make a really good song to entice someone to bed. eh terlucah pulak saya haha. I rarely say this but weekend please end quick I wanna get next week done and over with!

Latest condition

My husband has to go through medical check up every few months so here's the latest news about his health condition. I've made an entry before about his deteriorating health condition. After years of being diagnosed with diabetes (15 years to be exact), it has been foreseen that all these would occur. It's just a matter of time and how bad.

He would meet the doctors next week after they analyzed his urine and blood but he already got his urine analysis. I have yet to see it but he told me that the uric acid and urea in his urine is now higher than before. Too much uric acid and urea could lead to many problems and you could search the net if you are curious about them. His kidney is now affected due to diabetes and therefore unlike the rest of us who have normal functioning pair of kidneys, his can't filter as well as ours. In order to curb this problem or at least to stop making them worse, he would have to watch what he eats. For an example, he can't take too much milk because although it is good, it could lead to phosphorus in his urine to be high. He should also lay off meat too as it is high in protein and too much of it could strain his kidney. But he is finding it to be difficult to manage his own diet as he is away from me and he usually goes home late so preparing his own meals is almost next to impossible.

We are now hoping not to make his health condition worse and although it could get frustrating at times, we are trying to maintain our composure and be positive. Our chances of having our own kids are quite slim but we are trying not to think too much about it. We leave it in God's hands and we try not to think of the what ifs because it could lead to devastation and could certainly shake our beliefs.

I can't believe that I'm typing this very matter-of-fact-ly and I believe I have gotten a lot stronger than before. Age probably has got to do with this :-) So that's all about my husband's latest condition. I am not good with words and often finding it difficult to explain things that are happening in our lives so hopefully typing about what is up could somehow let you keep track of our lives. I know some close friends are reading this so yes, this entry is done for you :-)

Have a good week, guys.

extra miles

My husband is right now on a plane, off to Bangkok for work. Loneliness suddenly enveloped me and I was not sure why. When I gave myself a minute to think, I realised that it's because this means that he would be milesss away from me. Further than we usually are. He will be back this Friday and I would get to meet him inshaAllah on Saturday, right after school ends (to replace the Tuesday we had off during Chinese New Year) but still, I can't shake off this sudden longing of having him near me (Batu Pahat and KL is just three hours away, not that bad, really), preferably beside me. And I wonder how do people deal with long distance marriage, I mean reallllllly long distance marriage like Hani, a friend of mine whose husband is residing in the States whilst she is currently teaching in Johor. It takes great courage, tenacity and hard work. Hats off to them for staying strong and I foresee a bright future for them and their marriage.

I pray that my husband would have a safe journey and for the meeting to be smooth as planned. I pray that he would not have a tough time there and could take a great care of himself. I hope he would remember to watch what he consumes as he is diabetic with some complications to boot. Gosh I wish I could be his personal assistant who is with him 24/7 but wait, I am his wife cum personal assistant but without a pay of course because I'm doing all that I have to do out of love. Hehe.

A month from now, if God wills everything to be going as planned, we would be on our honeymoon and I can't wait for it :-) It is kinda late, almost 6 months after our do but I'm not complaining. We had to make do with what we had (honeymooning during December last year was impossible due to his work load and lack of holidays - he took too many for raya + our wedding :-p and the budget was really tight towards the end of last year too). So, Alhamdulillah that we managed to squeeze this in ^_^

I forgot to ask him how long would his flight be but I'm guessing it would take between 1-2 hrs. Be good fluffy hubby (fluffeh - referring to the minions in despicable me :-p), I'll see you soonish and though it would be nice to see you all smiley and handsome this Saturday, it would be extra nicer to see you have some souvenirs for me too. Thai silk, perhaps? :-p

and tomorrow marks the fifth month of our marriage! :-)

Every word feels like a shooting star

In American Idol season 9, Didi Benami was shown singing this song. This song is taken from Katherine Mcphee's Unbroken (her second album) and Didi had helped made this song a hit (Didi memang power. Heh heh -cubaan memuji diri sendiri). The title of this song is Terrified. Here's a new version of it where they feature the actor Zachary Levi from the series Chuck.

You, by the light
Is the greatest find
In a world full of wrong
You're the thing that's right

Finally made it through the lonely
To the other side

You set it again, my heart's in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
I'm at the edge of my emotions
Watching the shadows burning in the dark

And I'm in love
And I'm terrified
For the first time and the last time
In my only life

And this could be good
It's already better than that
And nothing's worse
Than knowing you're holding back

I could be all that you need
If you let me try

You set it again, my heart's in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
I'm at the edge of my emotions
Watching the shadows burning in the dark

And I'm in love
And I'm terrified
For the first time and the last time
In my only

I only said it 'cause I mean it
I only mean it 'cause it's true
So don't you doubt what I've been dreaming
'Cause it fills me up and holds me close whenever I'm without you

You set it again, my heart's in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
I'm at the edge of my emotions
Watching the shadows burning in the dark

And I'm in love
And I'm terrified
For the first time and the last time
In my only

Ah~ one of my fav :-)

sama sama

I have been married for a few days now. Alhamdulillah our majlis went well. Friends and relatives came from near and far to share our happiness :-) I'll upload more pictures later when the internet is more reliable and when I have the time to do so.

We are currently in an LDM, which stands for a long distance marriage, which hinders us from spending loads of time together, having a good time with each other.

One of the things that I miss the most is performing the prayer with him leading me. There's a sense of utter serenity when we pray together and when I follow his lead. It makes me feel that I can depend on him, I can trust him to lead me and I'll be fine when I'm with him. I crave for that feeling again.

I'll see him this Friday.
If God wills it, I can let him to lead me again.

3 jumaat lagi

2 jumaat lagi and we'll be celebrating Aidilfitri.

3 Jumaat lagi and I'll be somebody's wife.

InsyaAllah.

Here's a conversation between me and ermm me (heheh).

dD2 : Cik, boleh saye menebual cik?

dD : Oh pasti. Saya rase glemer bila ditemubual.

dD2 : Apekah perasaan nye apabila semakin hampir dengan hari bahagia?

dD : Rasanya seperti makan cokelat yang mahal, sedap dan begitu nikmat.

dD2 : Oh bukan, maksud saye your feeling lah (sengal!)

dD : Oh sori sori, saye blur skejap tadi. Almaklumlah, tengah pikir pasal macam macam benda kan. Hmm cemane nak eksplen ye. Perasaan saye nih macam bercampur baur gitu. I feel excited most of the time. At times, however, I do feel nervous and anxious which is because I have no power of knowing how the majlis will turn out, will it be perfect, will everything be going on smoothly, will I be able to finish preparing everything on time and will I actually forget to do anything important? *gigit gigit jari*

dD2 : Tolong jangan gigit jari anda. Cik dah besar ye, tak comel dah buat cemtuh. *cough cough* Bagaimana dengan persiapan cik so far?

dD : (ngko nih tanye gini nak buat aku nerbes ke ape) hmm dah siap la ape yg perlu disiapkan awal2 tuh. Tapi dulang hantaran masih dalam progress. Time cuti nak raye nih baru la pulun siapkan. Wat sndri aje okeh. Berpeluh la perah idea cube nak jadik kreatip nanti. Kalau huduh jangan gelak. Kecik ati.

dD2 : Lepas kawin nanti cemane pulak perancangan anda berdua? Kat mane nak tinggal nnt?

dD : Oh this has never been an issue between us. I want to be where he is and I'll apply for a transfer :-)

dD2 : (eh eh senyum melebar pulak pempuan nih teringt kat tunang dia) And any plans about kids?

dD : Oleh sebab dah berumahtangga mestila secare natural nya saye nak anak anak as soon as possible. Semoga adelah rezeki kami, tak gitu.

dD2 : Ye, gitu. Dan apekah nanti akan ade sebarang perubahan imej selepas bergelar seorang isteri? haaa.

dD : Pandai ngko tanye soklan bonus yeh. Heh heh. For me, a marriage is like a turning point. I want to see come changes, both mentally and physically. And by saying physically, I hope I won't be expanding horizontally though. I would don a more proper outfit. I'm not getting any younger, I had my fun and it's time to focus on the hereafter :-) I'll try to speak less or probably none of hurtful things, I'll try to act more responsibly and have more patience. I'll try.

dD2 : Whoa, that's a lot of things to be done!

dD : I know. Duh.

dD2 : Any wishes or secret hopes?

dD : If I tell you, it won't be much of a secret anymore la dey. Heh. Hmm. I do strongly hope that I would be able to see as many familiar faces as I could on our wedding day. I hope everyone would be happy and wish us well :-)

dD2 : :-) Things will go well, don't worry too much! OK I'm having the urge to go to the toilet. Cannot tahan. Gonna have to wrap this up. Mwahs mwahs. Much love!

dD : Thanks sweetie! (sambil melambai lambai kepade perempuan yang tergesa gesa ke toilet dalam keadaan gopoh gapah)

love hard, love fiercely and never forget.

I read this on a note shared by a friend on FB. This is the link :-read here . Read on.

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside
the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.
Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Sedih kan! This story might be made up but the hidden message there is real and often forgotten although I'm sure all of us know about it. Do not take things for granted. Familiarity often leads to boredom so don't forget the details that started off everything. I wish for all who read this post to have an awesome life with their loved ones and be spared from despair. Take care and don't forget to say I LOVE YOU to that special person :-)

major things off the list

Months before the wedding can be quite a challenge. There are tons of things we have to deal with and luck plays a MAJOR part.

Alhamdulillah our lucky stars seem to be working well with us and things have so far been going on great.

I was really stressed out (overwhelmed, actually) a few weeks back due to these many things that need to be settled but thank goodness, we now see a light at the end of this tunnel :-p

Last weekend made us super human for we managed to cross wedding invitation card, door gift, the hall's decoration, baju pengantin and (almost) the borang keizinan kahwin off our list. Phew!

The borang keizinan is not totally off the list because I'm still waiting for my uncle to sign my form (he's the wali) and after that, it can be submitted to the local pejabat agama to be processed :-)) It was a tedious task to get the form to be completed because you need many people's signature and you want to avoid mistakes for mistakes can lead to controversies (imam ni kawasan mana, etc nanti takut derang bertingkah) and we nearly had one if not for my ketua taman who saved us hehehehe. Cikgu Raihan, you are totally invited to our do.

I'm also super glad because the people we are dealing with for this wedding matter are very, very helpful and they made us at ease. We could stay within our budget because of these people. Rezeki :-) and I'm definitely going to blog about them and the service they offer!

Phew. and next week I'm planning on buying a few items for the hantaran. Semoga dapat beli barang mantap pada harga yang wow dan menjamin kepuasan suami saya bila dia pakai after kahwin nanti!!

Look out, there's a B2Bster coming your way!

B2B stands for bride to be, just in case you're wondering. As much as I can't wait to get married hahahha (ye saye gatal!) I also cringed every now and then thinking about how there's mountain of stuff to be done!

I have always been a very cool, calm and collected person (heheh) and I have always thought that I would make a real cool bride to be too.

And now I'm thinking no.

I might just be the next B2Bster. A monster lah tuh.

Even the simplest thing such as finding a make up artist to help glam up your look is a VERY tiring task.

Hours of google-ing, surveying for reasonable rates and looking at whether their work is either blah or wow, can be frustrating at times.

And I'm trying to not think too much about the money issue, because that would really drive me insane :-D

So in these few months, please excuse me if you find me a bit intolerable or to put it simply, a pain in the behind.

You've been warned :-D

A saying to make your day :-)

I stumbled upon this saying on my friend's FB status and I just couldn't help mentioning it here. I hope she doesn't mind :-). To all those who are in search of their loved ones, keep on trying and I hope you'll find that person. To those who have found theirs, congratulations, here's to many happy years together :-)

I've found mine :-)

All grown up!

About a week ago, I did something pretty grown up-ish.

Oh my gosh, the preparation took weeks. The gifts, cleaning up the house, re-painting the walls, dealing with the caterer, so on and so forth. I have a small family so I pretty much had to do things on my own with the help of my mom and my brother.

But I was thrilled and excited, of course.

And all the hard work and sweat paid off on May 29th, 2010.
When I officially became the fiance of a guy whom I really adore and love
:-)

Yes, I got engaged :-) And I'm so glad and I felt like I was on top of the world! (Well, almost on top, there is still a few months to go before I would really feel that I'm on top of the world!! ^^)

Wish us luck!!

And meet Ammar, the fiance :-)

happy birthday baby :-)

AMMAR
dearest,

Yesterday was your 26th birthday and yes, you are now officially as old as I am. It's OK to be old though because regardless of your age, I would forever think you are the hottest male that has ever set foot on this planet. Honest.

I have many wishes and prayers for you.

The most important wish that has always top my list more than everything else is for your great health and longevity. I have been aware about your sickness since we were back in high school. You had never made it apparent to others that you are sick so that made me felt that you are a one cool dude. It also kind of made me forgot about your health condition.

Who would've thought that 10 years down the road, we would grew closer and be more than just friends =)

And as we get closer, I grew more worried about you. I have never worried about what I may face in the future, but I am always worried about how you will be and the pain that you might have to go through. I am the kind of person who would protect my loved ones from all the bad things. I have stood up for my friends and family members on several occasions. I can take it if people mess with me but I can't take it so well when people mess with my loved ones. So each time I think about how I am useless in not being able to protect you from the sufferings that you might have to endure, I ache inside.

I had a few pretty meaningless monologue where I blame all sorts of things and called all these as being unfair. But it stopped when I managed to kick some sense into my head.

I realised that there is and will never be of use to question fate.

Prayers are our weapon and I use it as much as I could.

There has never been one day where I didn't pray to God to make things easier for you, here and the hereafter. I pray for you to be strong regardless of the circumstance. I also pray for you to continue loving me even when I get fat and all round (OK let's not go there ;-p). I pray that you are always well and happy. I pray for us to be able to go through what we always wish for :-).

Yes there were shittier times than usual where you have voiced your doubts on whether we will be able to go through all those happy times that we wish for. And if I am ready on facing the unpleasant situation that might or might not happen. God knows how scared I am to think about all those things. Therefore I sucked in all the worrywart side of me and let the optimistic side of me shone. I need to be strong for you to be able to lean on me.

I love you so much that even though I was freaking mad, all of my wrath would just fade away each time I see your face.
I love you so much that it would be incomplete not to tell you that I love you on every single day.
I love you so much to stop worrying about you.

I have seen each side of yours. The good and the bad ones. I have seen you going through your ups and down and baby, I still would like to be by your side for the rest of time. You might be the sick one but you keep me sane up here in my head and in my heart so I think we balance each other well :-)

But now let's go down to business.

You already got your birthday gift (and I hope you will never cease using it!).

I do, however, have a second gift for you too.

My second birthday gift for you is a lifetime warranty of love and companionship.
It is non refundable and non exchangable.
Comes with a FOC back massage and recurrent hugs and kisses.
Remember, it's non-returnable! So no getting rid of me there, mister ;-)

Happy birthday my Ammar. Semoga murah rezeki, panjang umur, kesihatan dipelihara, dirahmati Allah dunia dan akhirat dan urusan kamu selalu dipermudahkanNya. Amin.

There's gonna be a very special nasik goreng ayam this coming CNY break

Mandi tak basah, makan tak kenyang, tidor tak lena :- simptom org tgh bercinta yang rindu rinduan. Aku mandi masih basah dan perlukan towel, makan banyak banyak masih mampu rasa kenyang (kalo makan laju lambat skit rasa kenyang, makan perlahan cepatla rasa kenyang tuh. Aku suka makan laju. Which explains kenapa aku tak kurusss. oops) dan tidor masih mampu lena dan boleh snooze alarm henpon bila berbunyik pukul 6.05 a.m (kenapa bukan pukul 6? Sebab pukul 6 tuh terlalu awal. huh)

Tetapi ;
Saya sedang rindu.

Hati rasa berat bila fikir lamanya tidak jumpa.
5 hari lagik to go before I can see his face and tease him.
120 hours to sail through before I can go and sulk to my heart's content when I feel like it (;-p)
One long week before I can force him to drive and let myself enjoy the view from the car.

We'll finally have our nasik goreng ayam that we had been craving for this past few weeks (ok, it was mainly me but I just had to type 'we' - kene kaver). There'll be a session of sticker-picture taking (it's a tradition ^^) don't worry babe, I'll teach you how to pose and my cuteness will definitely makes up for the both of us. Oops :-P. I hope we'll be able to catch valentine's (the movie) too but even if we don't it's OK because it's your face I'd want to see and not Taylor Lautner's (he 's in this movie. I don't think he'll be shirtless like he did in New Moon though).

You'll aways beat Jacob's rear end dear.

I'm just, basically, missing you. Heaps.
And I can't wait to see you this Friday.
There'll be some serious rear end's squeezing. HEH HEH HEH.

Never knew I needed

I've mentioned that I watched the movie "The Princess and The Frog" two posts back and now I'm not suggesting for you to go and watch the movie (I didn't really enjoy it much to be honest) but to listen to the song that is played during the end credit of this movie instead.

I've listened to this song for a couple of times on the radio and fell in love with it instantly. I wikipedia-ed it but could not find any info about this song. I knew that it's Ne-yo's but that's that.

So imagine my glee when I heard it when the end credits roll at the end of the movie. It fits perfectly and makes you leave the cinema with a big grin on your face. It just makes you feel good inside :-)

here's the lyric :

for the way you changed my plans
for being the perfect distraction
for the way you took the idea that i have
of everything that i wanted to have
and made me see there was something missing (oh yeah)

for the ending of my first begin
(ooh yeah yeah)(ooh yeah yeah)
and for the rare and unexpected friend
(ooh yeah yeah)(ooh yeah yeah)
for the way you're something that i never choose
but at the same time something i don't wanna lose
and never wanna be without ever again (oh oh)

you're the best thing i Never Knew I Needed
so when you were here i had no idea
you're the best thing i never knew i needed
so now it's so clear i need you here always

my accidental happily (ever after oh oh oh)
the way you smile and how you comfort me (with your laughter)
i must admit you were not a part of my book
but now if you open it up and take a look
you're the beginning and the end of every chapter (oh oh)

you're the best thing i never knew i needed (oh)
so when you were here i had no idea
you're the best thing i never knew i needed (that i needed)
so now it's so clear i need you here always

who'd knew that I'd be here (who'd knew that I'd be here oh oh)
so unexpectedly (so unexpectedly oh oh)
undeniably happy (hey)
said with you right here, right here next to me (oh)
girl you're the..

you're the best thing i never knew i needed (said i needed oh oh)
so when you were here i had no idea
you're the best thing i never knew i needed (needed oh)
so now it's so clear i need you here always
baby baby
now it's so clear i need you here always

Oh I feel so warm and fuzzy inside now.
