and just so u know, he's the supporting actor in a korean movie titled "Baby and I". He has been involved in entertainment industry since he's about 8 months or so. And if you wondered how the heck did he has those huge, adorable eyes, well, he's not fully korean. He's half Canadian.

Lynn's wedding

A close friend of mine got married on December 13, 2008. It was a great day, we got to see each other after months of being apart (all of us used to stay in the same apartment in our final year of study) and we were so thrilled to see one of us (the first!) to settle down at the age of 24. Here are some of the pictures. And to Lynn and her hubby Fairul, best of luck! I wish both of you all the happiness in the world :)

2008 is fast approaching the end.

I can't say that it's my best year. It's far from it. Yes I had some awesome memories, but it's pale in comparison to the bad times and the downs that I had to go through. So I'm kinda excited that it's finally coming to an end. I'm happy that I finally get to close the book and with much anticipation and enthusiasm, I shall open the new book. I have ONE major resolution that I hope I'll be able to achieve sometime next year. It's pretty vain but what can I do, I'm a woman :P And there are also some few minor resolutions that would be really sweet if I get to achieve them.

So, here's to us. Whatever happened in 2008, stays in 2008.

Let's keep on moving ;)

P/S - Dammit, I have to work on new year's eve and ON that new year day itself. What a way to start a new beginning, eh ;p

been slacking for the past few weeks. Plenty had happened and I've been putting off blogging because of several reasons. My fingers are itching. I can't wait to blog more! Oh btw, this is my first post with my latest toy, baby phat.

And she's a laptop. The old one broken down.

So now I'm like nearly totally broke.

Yes, I went to Dreambox again haha. And we were charged 50.60 from 6pm until 10. I went there with my brother. He did all the eating while I did all the singing haha. Too much of it that we had to settle with eating while watching video clips because I can't sing anymore :P For about rm25.30 per person, it was worth it. I hope this promotion will go on up until next year because I'm dangerously becoming an addict of Dreambox!

congrats

I still can't believe that two BIG things are gonna happen this coming weekend that involves 2 of my close friends. One is getting married this Saturday while the other one is getting engaged the day after that. They must be feeling really nervous right now, preparing everything. I watched how their relationships grow and how they grow from being teenage kids fresh outta school to being this two wonderful ladies.

The one who is getting married is probably the most mature one out of us. She is a very sensible girl and I am so happy that she found this man who I am sure will make her happy and will take a really good care of her. I wish you all the happiness in the world, darling and I can't wait to see your little ones (I'm so gonna be the cool aunt and spoil them with pressies! :P)

The other who is getting engaged is a very, very beautiful young lady. Her beauty can make you go breathless. And her other half is a good looking guy, too :)(and he is a very, very patient guy). They are what you can call as a match made in heaven. I hope they'll sail thru their engagement and get married in a wonderful wedding.

Three cheers to these two of my gal pals. Be good, stay in love and live life. Guess we oredi know now who will be the first out of us all to settle down.! Me, I don't want a prince charming anymore, I want my prince of darkness to come and appear right in front of me out of thick smoke. (-I'm imagining Rob Pattinson here :P)Cool, cold, mysterious, does not talk to anyone else and worship me, only me. Mueheheh.

UN-enchanted

I just watched enchanted for the second time. Ah, what a lovely, lovely movie. And what lovely, lovely songs it has. What I love about it tho, is how you can watch the movie with 2 perception. You either watch it as a light movie, sipping in the good humour and enjoying the songs or you either think. Think about how ironic life is. And how the grass always seem to be greener on the other side. Fairy tales seem perfect, easy and blissful but I bet Cinderella also would love to date before she married her prince charming.

Will I find him and lead that happily ever after that must be so nice and comforting or will I succumb to the pressure of the society and tie the knot (like, literally) with God knows who and live years of regret, thinking about what could have been?

IF, my Prince Charming (you know, the one who is FOR me as I am FOR him and who will go and fight the dragon off from hurting me and save me with a true love's kiss when I faint upon biting a poisonous apple) does exist, it's about time you show up with your shining armor and save me from falling deep, deep into this pit. But, if there is NO prince charming for me (maybe I don't deserve one after all *pfftt*) then I don't want all the other wannabes to cross my path and try to lend their hands for me because, excuse me mister, I am capable of saving myself.

CUBA - Faizal Tahir

I just watched the semi final of Muzik Muzik on TV3 (thanx to my bestie who reminded me about it). Five songs made it to the final, Lagu Kita by Aizat, Bila Nak Saksi by Spider, Hanya Di Mercu by Ayu, Sampai Syurga and Cuba, both by the talented Faizal Tahir. I adore Faizal Tahir. His songs are awesome as well as his performances. They never fail to impress me. I love both of his songs that made it to the final but I love Cuba slightly more, simply because, well, I'm feeling it. The music builds up your anticipation nicely but it's the lyric that got my attention.

I'm not ashame to admit that I LOVE *hugs hugs* Britney Spears. 2008 has been a great year for our Queen B and thank God for my favourite pop princess is no longer going through that dark phase of her life. It's December now and is the month of sharing and giving (think Christmas! :)) so I'm feeling generous to share with you guys the latest tracks for Queen B's album entitled Circus.

Dreambox definitely cured the ITCH! :)

I really love karaoke-ing. Ever since I was introduced to GreenBox / RedBox last year, I've been hooked. Head over heels, madly in love. Shame there wasn't any in Melaka.

Not for long :)

In the middle of this year, my gal pals and I discovered this kinda oh-kay karaoke place. It's GoGo Karaoke, pardon the name, I know it sounds silly but the location is not. It is nicely located at the end of a jetty, where you could take a free buggy ride to go there. After all, you need to save up the energy to sing your heart out later.

But it did not take us long to find out that the service is rather lukewarm, to the border of being cold. The rooms can be dirty at times and don't get me started on the sound system and the song selection. So, it was basically down with GoGo.

The lacking of karaoke place in Melaka was seriously hazardous to my mental's & wallet's health. I could go to KL just to hog the mic at Red Box Low Yatt. I had to, otherwise I might end up with days of itchy throats (huh?)

So imagine how overjoyed I was when I discovered DreamBox, which I could call the fraternity brother of Redbox/Greenbox. A little bit overpriced though (costs us 40++ which includes free buffet + 2 drinnks and 3 hours of karaoke session) but, the room, the service, and the sound system is simply heavenly. The song selection doesn't rock as Redbox/Greenbox does but as long as there is Avril's Losing Grip that I could scream out loud to, hey it's fine with me :)



There is a promotion for the month of December, and my throat is itching (??!) again. Might tag my brother along with me, he does not sing, so I could have the mic all for my own. He could have the buffet, I don't mind.

If you are interested in a singing session at Dreambox, go to Dataran Pahlawan Mall, it is located at level 4, below GSC, above Carrefour. It's relatively cheap in December and gosh, I wanna go there agaiiiiiin!

P/S - I really enjoyed spending time with my three bestest-childhood-friends. Thanks for making my Sunday nite a happy, happy one! I needed it badly :) And girls, I want all the pics pwissss~~~
