Human beings are born curious. I know you are. So read up, and quench your curiosity. Heh Heh.

Hit me baby one more time
Aside from teenagers, I think I’m allergic to babies. Or rather, they are allergic to me.
It would be OK if I just stare at them. No physical contact. But once that contact is made, they would start crying for no apparent reason! It’s mind boggling!
Do I smell bad? Nah, I’m pretty sure I smell decent.
Am I holding you incorrectly? Nah, the momsters all are giving me the OK look.
Then what is so wrong with me that the babies just had to cry?
Do I exude that much loathing? (errmm, I might, I can be quite an ice princess :-D)
Ah, so that was what it’s all about. I shall now hold babies with warmth and happiness. I shall only think of how a bundle of joy you are to the whole household. Although you can be quite costly and cause people of sleep deprivation, never mind, I shall make peace with you.
But to think of how such a small person can cause so much pain to the person giving birth to you…
And how you are so tiny yet you can produce something that emit such unpleasant smell..
And how you always cry and cry and drive the new mommies up against the wall..
Wow. I have total respect to you babies.
Now, please don’t cry when I hold you or I swear to God as soon as you can understand what a deathly stare is I’m gonna give it to you until you shiver right down to your spine.
Uhm. Is there anybody out there who wants to make me their babies’ godmother?

the unfortunate tiger :-(
I won't be able to go sleep if I don't post this up. This happened in A'Famosa Safari World, Melaka. What this person did to the tiger was very inhumane and the management should be blamed for they must be the one behind this. This tiger looked way drugged. A normal feline won't be behaving this way when they are disturbed. Let alone being kneed on the head, pinched on the nose and being pulled by the whiskers.
If you feel disturbed upon watching this clip, please join the STOP ANIMAL ABUSE IN A'FAMOSA page on facebook. I can't link the page right now but you can copy this link : http://www.facebook.com/pages/Stop-Animal-Abuse-at-A-Famosa/125692030790253 to your browser.

Dalat
Setiap Kamis aku ade kelas tambahan untuk budak budak Tingkatan 3. The class is after school, it starts around 2p.m until 3.30p.m. Usually time kelas tambahan nih aku tak la se fierce macam kelas waktu pagi. Kelas waktu petang nih selalunye aku akan berlawak jugakla dengan budak budak. Not that I enjoy goofing off with teenagers (aku nih alah dengan bebudak remaje sbenanye haha) but I do know how boring it can get having to study in the hot afternoon.
Hari nih aku suruh derang jawab soalan literature Paper 1. After they did each section, we went through each question together. Sambil sambil tuh recall balik poem / short stories tuh dengan mereka and it was a joy lah bila they could still remember the important points about those poems and short stories.
Poem Life's Brief Candle. Selesai.
Poem The Dead Crow. Selesai.
Poem Lake Isle of Innisfree. Selesai.
Citer Of Bunga Telor. Selesai.
Citer The Pencil. Selesai.
Citer Dalat. Almost selesai.
Borak borak sikit pasal citer How Dalat Got Its Name nih. Derang tau what the story is about and could elaborate on each character. Bagus. Bagus. Tak sia sia kadang kadang aku buat muka animated bila cerita kat derang. Lepas tuh sampai la part penurunan kuasa jadik ketua kampung. Selalunya pass kat anak sulung (cerita nih pasal perebutan kuasa nak jadik ketua kampung lepas bapak tiga beradik nih mati).
Si Afiq : Abis tuh teacher kalo anak perempuan?
Ms dD : Pass la yang kat anak laki dia.
Si Afiq : Kalo anak dia sume pempuan?
Ms dD : Ko la yang jadi ketua kampung.
Selesai. Kalo aku layan agaknye lagik panjang nanti bebudak nih mengarut. Teacher pun nak balik awal jugak, dah lapo :-D

G & B.
I have always been a bit drawn to reality tv shows. I'm a sucker for them. It started with Survivor (the first season which was filmed in Pulau Tiga) and followed by The Amazing Race and America's Next Top Model. I used to not be able to resist watching Survivor. It was aired on NTV7 and I was one of the loyal followers!
But as I age I found myself slowly growing sick of TV shows.
I can't sit still in front of TV for a very long time. I have sadly, become one of those orang tua who can't seem to fathom what there is to enjoy in front of the telly. I can tolerate watching shows on my laptop screen but not the television.
There is however, a TV show that I could manage to enjoy from the start until the end of it without running back and forth from the hall to my room (to surf the internet, of course - I'm not so old after all :-D) and yes it's a reality TV show.
It's Giuliana and Bill on channel E!.
I have always liked Giuliana. She oozes confidence with just the right amount of attractiveness, aggressiveness as well as homour. To top it of, English is not her mother tongue yet she managed to master it well (heard that she improved her English through watching the news on telly) and it's so endearing to hear her speaking in Italian with her mother in some of the episodes of the show.
Bill is well, Bill. The winner of the famous The Apprentice and he is not a bad looking chap too. He seems to have the "Let's get to business" attitude and duh, what do you expect from a dude who won a show about an enterprising skill.
Both of them seem to be an odd union but it works.
There are obviously some disagreements but I reckon all married couples would encounter that.
You know the feeling of watching a couple that shows a bit too much of PDA (and in case you don't know this stands for Public Display of Affection) which sometimes make you want to puke? I don't get the sensation to puke each time I watch this show. I root for them because they are so not annoying when they are together. They display the right amount of PDA-ness and they appear to be a great team. They are even cute to be seen together :-) Bill always teases Giuliana and she always repels but you can see that they are madly in love with each other.
And I would spend my weekend watching reruns on them each time I noticed they are being aired on E! when I'm back home.
Guess I'm not so old, after all.
