confession of a teddy.

My name is Marley. This is a confession of a teddy bear.

I shall never forget the date I was united with my master. It was September 12, 2008. I knew we would click right away. I knew she would treat me right and love me with all of her heart. I promised myself that I would love her right back. I vowed to always, always be there for her at all times. I wanted to be the one who comfort her when she is sad, I wanted to be the one who she seeks for when she's feeling down and I wanted to share her happiness too.

As time goes by, I have seen her in both happy and sad times. I swear to God, there were many times where I wish I could say out loud that it's OK to cry and I would love her always and even when she cries, I still adores her and loves her the most.

I've seen her at her worst too. When she woke up and her hair seemed to be in a mess. When she got her measles and her face was swollen (I didn't dare to laugh though. kene lah jaga hati.) And well, couple of other times too that I shall not mention in case that would drive her mad and she would rub minyak cap kapak on my face.

I love it when she hugs me everytime she wants to fall asleep. And what flattered me the most was that, out of all teddies that she has (she has quite a lot! and there's this one teddy that is as big as me and we always fought for her attention but that's another story), she chose me! She brought me with her when she had to go away from home and started working. She brings me home with her too, almost every weekend. And when she does, she always, always make sure that my seatbelt is fasten securely. If that is not love, I don't know what that is :)

But there is something that has been bothering me lately. It has been two nights in a row where she woke up from her sleep in the middle of the night. I think she had nightmares. I don't know what they are about becuz she refused to talk about them with me. I just hope that it won't happen again tonight because there's nothing I like more than to watch her in her deep sleep. Untouched, and so in peace until her alarm goes on where she will snooze it for a couple of times before she finally wakes up. And then she will go to work and I would be left alone for hours. But hey, it's not too bad really because then I get to go online. I'm a tech-savvy teddy. And you know what, I think that is all for now. I'm gonna google sleep and see what I can do to ensure that she would have a really good, quality, uninterrupted sleep tonight.

Tata! :)

Lollipop by Big Bang! and 2NE1.

Here's something to make your weekend a cheerful, colourful one. I have to work on Saturday but hey, who's complaining. Wednesday was a holiday in Johor so I still had to work 5 days this week as usual, so I guess it's all good?

Nways, Big Bang is a group that I really, really adore (perhaps if they ditch their heavy eyeliners they'll rank up higher in my heart? ^^ but I do have the hots for T.O.P of this group tho - he's the one wearing glasses in this lollipop MV). Their songs are great and my personal favourite is 'haru haru'. The MV of that song is uber cool (they could act so well!) and I took an even deeper liking towards it upon reading the English translation of that song *sniffs* *sniffs*. Youtube it if you have the time and who knows, maybe you'll end up liking it too :) Apart from that song, I also love 'lies'. Well, actually I can't really make up my mind which I like more because it pretty much depends on my mood :P.

2NE1 is like the female version of Big Bang. They are very new to the Korean music industry and 'Lollipop' is their debut single and I foresee bright future for these girls!

oh btw, this MV is to promote the LG's Lollipop handphone. I want one!!!(but it has only been released in Korea so far *drools* *drools*)

Adoration overloads! Pink lollipop, I'm staring right at ya! ^O^

the latest craze

I'm quite late in joining in this craze. I intended to do so much earlier but the slow internet connection kinda have set my mood off. Thank goodness that my internet connection nowadays is sorta reliable so I'm taking full advantage of it while it lasts :P

The latest craze I'm talking about is the korean drama Boys Before Flowers. It is identical to Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango. Now, don't go and ask me which version is better because they are all special in their own way.

Meteor Garden:

I watched the Taiwanese version back when I just started my tertiary education and it got me crazy over the group F4. Specifically Jerry Yan. I'm not really sure though on whether I fell in love with the Jerry Yan or was it his character as Daominxi. Either way, the F4 sensation was really huge in Malaysia. There were heaps of their posters being sold all over the malls.

Hana Yori Dango:

Next came Hana Yori Dango. With this drama, I was head over heels. The plot is fast, there are many funny moments and all of the actors are very good looking! And I adore the female lead of this drama. She's cute and compared to the other two of those Taiwanese and Korean version, her potrayal of the character is the least annoying :P Did I mention that she is cute? And oh I also absolutely love MatsuJun in this drama. His curly hair is super kawaii and his attitude in this drama made millions of girls watching this drama with dreamy eyes :P I watched this drama over the internet back when I was in New Zealand where the internet connection was awesome.

Boys Before Flowers:

And now, it's Boys Before Flowers. The male actors gained lots and lots of fans due to this drama and suffice to say, this drama is very well received in Korea. It just came to its last episode about 2 weeks ago and from the articles I've read, most fans were happy with its ending as there were speculations over the internet that the ending of this drama would differ greatly from those Taiwanese and Japanese version. Luckily it is a happy ending or I'm sure many fans would literally jump over the edge of a wall somewhere. You know how extreme they can be. I watch this drama via the internet too and am still watching it although it is available on Astro (the KBS channel). But I'm gonna have to wait until I go back home on weekends should I wanna watch it on Astro and even then I would have to fight for the remote control with the household *sigh*. So watching it online is a better resort for me.

Now, the drama has really started to grow on me as well as the actors and the soundtracks. But don't ask me to pick which I like best amongst the three versions because I'm sure I won't be able to. And don't ask me to pick which male leading actors I love most because I want all three of them!! ^o^

July 17, 2009.

I was spring cleaning my stuff in my bedroom and as usual, I ended up reading up some bits and stuff. I have (almost) all series of the Harry Potter saga except for Order Of The Phoenix (I borrowed it from the library to read it) and Deathly Hallow (borrowed from my roomie becuz it was too darn expensive over here when it was first released!).

The Half Blood Prince is the one that is very dear to me because of some nostalgic reasons. The book came out when I was in Auckland and I was part of the Half Blood Prince craziness, reserving the book and all that. And even got a Harry Potter cap when I finally got my hands on that book. I spent about 3 days reading that book from page to page (I had to alternate between reading, watching animes on youtube - Bleach was available on Youtube during that time and also eating. heh heh heh). A friend of mine who still hasn't read that book at that time got to know about the most important event in that book in a rather shocking way, haha. He was watching a play by the drama club of the uni and in one of the scene, an actor blabbed about the latest book and told the audience that one of the character died (I shall not name his name here - just in case you are more of the movie fan and you don't want any spoiler), just like that. Suffice to say, he got some pretty deserving boos by the audience. Don't kid around spoilers, I know some people who would literally kill anybody who spoil them the ending / plot of a story. It's like ripping them off the suspense (and fun, too) by telling them beforehand on what's gonna happen.

My brother is more of the HP's movie fan. Tried to talk him through reading the books but he never got around finishing them. We had been planning from way back then to watch The Half Blood Prince which was scheduled to be released on August 2008 but the movie's release date got postponed to July 17th of 2009. There were many speculations about its' delay that I don't know which one is true and which is not. Speculation or not, it is now April and I can't hardly wait for another 3 months to pass me by so that I get to go visit Hogwarts again!
